On Thursday January 1st 2009 the US military handed backed the "Green Zone" in Baghdad to the Iraqi authorities. The Green Zone is a 4 mile square area in the center of Baghdad where Saddam Hussein lived in his palace. It has become the symbol for USA occupation of Iraq. The Iraqi leader al-Maliki has called this day "Sovereignty Day" and said that Iraq has reclaimed its sovereignty from the USA.

devin walker my story is about china. in china people have different hatited traits and different lives than we have because. in china people have no freedom to leave there country without government permission. or they will be aressted but people in china have chinese parades just like we do. on chinese new years almost 50% on the chinese citizens join this parade every year.
